Description:
The truck started as a clean original southern truck and over the last 18 months was restored from the ground up by me in my shop at MRCUCV. A new front clip with inner and outer fenders was added. The body was nice and straight so not much bodywork was needed. For paint I used PPG products, sealer then 2 gal of 2K primer was block sanded smooth and the 4 coats if PPG urethane enamel was applied. My goal when I build trucks is to provide very nice driver's quality turn key trucks for people to enjoy and be driven. Below is a partial list of the new parts and work preformed. Much more was done to detail and finish the truck below are just the highlights. New professionally installed (L&N Performance, Blowing Rock NC) factory Jasper re-manufactured TBI 350 with RV cam and all modern up grades and a national 3/36 mile warranty New JBA Stainless Steel shorty headers New 3 inch exhaust and high flow converter All new hoses, belts, O2 sensors, switches etc. New Champion aluminium radiator New A/C compressor and converted to 134 with all new hoses New billet distributor New ignition coil New clutch fan New heater fan Early NOS Chevy steering wheel New B&M transmission cooler and all new hoses New 165mm headlights and heavy duty wiring harness All new parking/turn signal lights and housings New front shaded and tinted windshield New factory tinted rear glass New Cooper A/T 3 tires 4 New Bilstein 4600 shocks and New Rough Country Gas Steering Stabilizer New wheels sandblasted and painted with rings and caps All new trim and chrome Complete new Front brakes, calipers, rotors, pads and hoses, New parking brake and cables New rear brakes to include drums, shoes and hardware New custom 3 inch exhaust with stainless muffler and high flow converter All new weatherstripping (to include the removable top) Complete new full custom Black interior w/new dash and pad New headliner New drivers and passenger side door power motors and window regulators New power door locks New power window switches and door lock switches New gauge bezel and inserts New door inserts and trim New fuel tank sending unit and fuel pump New rear bumper New grille
