George Howell Gay(American/New York and Wisconsin: 1858-1931) Seascape Watercolor Painting ofRocky Coastal Shoreline (likely New England, USA). with Sailing ships in thedistance. Signed lower right. ModernFrame and matt under glass See pics and what’s wrong with-it section for fulldetails and description beautiful estate piece! Outside frame measures approx. 28-1/418-3/4 inches inside matt measures approx. 11-1/4 X 21-3/8 inches My apologies on the lighting glare in some of the photos What's wrong with it? Painting is in pretty good condition BUT has what looks like acid stains possibly down the middle right possibly from original matt mostly in the clouds but not too bad. Theframe has minor nicks, chips, dents, and dings and needs a good cleaning aswell.
