Name:My name is Pandora.Fun Fact:Pandora's box is an arftifact in Greek myfology. The container mentioned in the original story was actually a large storage jar but the word was later mistranslated as "box". I think a jar is better, because that is where treats are stored.What is Your Guilty Pleasure:Trips to the spa. Okay, maybe not a spa persay, maybe a mud puddle. I love to wallow in the mud puddle like a piggie. When they wont let me get that dirty I settle for the kiddie pool.Whats in Your Purse:I will tell ya, not much. My social card is not too full so I dont leave the house very much, so no need to stuff a purse. I do have a leash now that I have used twice at adoption events. Twice!Anything to Celebrate:We are going to have a huge celabuttration, and wiggle our butts to the fact that I can actually walk on a leash now. A few months ago, when I was first rescued from the city shelter, I had to be carried like a sack of potatoes, because I was too scared to walk. But the volunteers have been practicing me and giving me encouragements in the form of hotdogs and I am getting better.Personality:I am still a shy dog overall, but I will warm up if given time and of course treats. Pork products do wonders for a girls confidence. I currently live with 5 other dogs and I love them all. I know my name and will come running if you holler it.Final Ask:Look I know an almost 2 year old, 50 pound, Lab mix with a shy complex might be a bit of a project. But think out of the Pandoras box and get a project dog, you will be so proud in a few months when you are respawnsible for my progress. You will be able to pat your self on the back and maybe even give your self 58 pieces of weenie treats for doing so well. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website.
