Description:
Toy sewing machine. Made of heavy metal. Gear wheel on ideal steps in a complete rotation. Lever to lift needle bar works. Needle holder takes a trip completely up and down as the wheel is turned. I am uncertain just how old this item is but it is a minimum of 80 years old and I think it is actually much older than that. It was provided to me by a buddy when I was simply a kid so I believe she had probably had it for a great number of years before that. It does not work as far as stitching goes but all the parts work. The needle has actually been broken off however is still in position. The elegant decals on the body of the system are initial and in great shape. Made in Germany is printed on the leading base.
