1978 Strikes and Spares Pinball Machine for sale. When I initially purchased this machine, it was not working. I took it on as a job. I got it working, made some bumper and light repair works, but do not have the time to deal with it. It plays as it is. The back glass is a 9.9 from 10, and is what made this game so popular. Artist Kevin O'Connor said at the 2004 Texas Pinball Festival that the girl in the backglass is a fantasy lady and was not based upon a real person. This device was played a lot, the playfield shows a lot of wear. I have a more recent and much nicer Comet pinball, however everyone always appears to play this equipment more. $400 OBO. Pick-up just.
