This is an amazing piece of history. It is European, we think French. It has French papers stuck on top of the shelving. The antique store that sold it to me approximated it was from mid to late 1800s. It is really tall and it makes outstanding storage. You have to have and 8 foot tall ceiling in your place for this to fit. It is truly an elegant piece that of your guest will appreciate. I paid $1800 for it but because I relocated to a home to the city it can not have me. Kindly offer it a nice home.
