This German leaded glass cut crystal bowl sets on a on a stylish footed pedestal. The bowl has actually a beautiful ruffled edge that conceals the rim the cover sets on, so it can be used with or without the cover. The pattern is the looked for after Hofbauer Byrdes design with 3 lovely birds cut into both the bowl and the lid. The lid has an intricate open three sided crystal finial that fills out the exquisite pattern. The ensemble is best other than for one small chip in the rim of the cover.
