These trains were hand developed by a retired railroad person who enjoyed trains, these are among a kind with cool information, important folkart fashion. The Maine Central Engine determines about 60" long and 30" high, the lights were wired to work and it has a coal tender that has to do with 30" long. The Union Pacific locomotive is about the very same size, the lights are wired and there is a warmer mounted inside with a tea kettle that produced steam and ran with pipings to make the train appearance realistic. You must come see these to genuinely appreciate them, The caboose which is marked HCRR, represented Hiram Central Railroad which I don't believe in fact existed but that is where the person lived, in Hiram Maine, these are barn fresh, never prior to offered. The caboose has lights that work, a bunkbed, stove and table with a light, all in real folkart fashion. They are fantastic conversation pieces that are for display only, they do not move, they are mounted on wheels that roll like a wagon. There is also a smaller sized engine and tender that do not have as much detail. Call for certain costs, I would rather sell them as a lot however I will separate. Call me anytime during the day and very early night.
