This antique sewing desk is strong wood, and extremely durable. Though it is missing the mechanics to hold a sewing machine, the rest of the desk is still in good working order, including an integrateded thread holder in among the drawers. It has actually two hinged doors on the top of the desk which open to expose a third little flap which was transferred to allow the equipment to decrease and raise for use. This desk has actually been well utilized and as such, there are lots of surface scratches, but the wood is gorgeous.
