See list of possible trade products at the bottom.:-). This Gorgeous Piano was my late mother's, and she valued it. I have a hand-written history of this piano from the previous owner. It is actually rather remarkable to read! The cabinet wood is typical of the Kranich & Bach style, because it is very great and unique, with fantastic grain. I found the following info on line about these amazing pianos, and this instrument appears to be normal, in its beauty and originality. "Kranich & Bach."One of the most sophisticated and ingenious piano makers of the 19th Century was the Kranich & Bach Piano Company of New York. Kranich & Bach was developed in 1864, and they were understood for constructing incredibly well made, pricey pianos. They were understood for their luxurious use of unique woods and lavish cabinet designs, as well as their remarkable tone and building. By 1891, Kranich & Bach claimed to have constructed and sold as lots of as 25,000 pianos across the country. Kranich & Bach was awarded numerous patents throughout the 20th & 19th Centuries, many of which are thought about well ahead of their time today. In the very early 20th Century Kranich & Bach produced a line of really small baby grand pianos called the 'Grandette'. These pianos were designed to get the most tone and volume possible from an extremely small instrument. The Grandette was quite popular and offered really well. Like so numerous other American piano business, Kranich & Bach was taken control by the huge Aeolian-American Corporation, and they remained to develop Kranich & Bach pianos till the 1980s. I did the study, and see that, while these pianos (K Baby Grands) can cost $20,000.00 fully restored, they are worth somewhere around $1,000.00 when severely in need of restoration, as this one is. I truly desire to sell it, so that I do not have to put it into storage, where it is sure to suffer more harm. It breaks my heart to see it out of repair service, provided the means my mommy valued this piece. Therefore, I am asking just $750, but will consider affordable offers, specifically if it is from somebody who prepares to recover it, and will certainly guarantee to send images when it is done! The harp states 1877, as I recall (I am not near the piano at present, but I am rather sure that is the date on it). It has to be tuned, and it needs to be refinished, but the damage is not bad - refinishing ought to not be a huge offer! The keys stick (some of them) and it requires tlc. Truly, it is not in terrible condition. It has not been played in a number of years, as I do not play, and my mother is died. But this is not a trashed instrument. It has been enjoyed, and needs to be liked once more. Sorry about the pictures - these are all I carry my computer.
