Lincoln Motor Company went all out to celebrate its 75th Anniversary by producing the exclusive Diamond Jubilee Mark V. This beautiful Diamond Jubilee had every option Lincoln offered in 1978 and was the most expensive car in Lincoln history to that point with a sticker price of $20,529, by far the most expensive American car. This Diamond Jubilee still has its original exhaust and spare tire! The paint is original and has normal and minor rock chips on front.This car came loaded with standard features not seen on other cars of the period including a leather dashboard, ebony wood tone accents and electronic passenger side mirror. Front bucket seats in luxurious Wedgewood Blue cloth with the Wedgewood Blue Broadlace inserts were exclusive to the Diamond Jubilee. The carpeting is 36 oz. Tiffany cut-pile which is also used in the trunk. Tires are excellent.Other exclusive touches include beveled instrument panel lenses; beveled opera windows with Diamond Jubilee Edition in gold script, and a simulated Diamond used for an "I" in edition.
