This is for an unlabeled, unknown brand Bb Trumpet.Best I can guess, this was made in Eastern Europe in the latter half of the Cold War, possibly Czechoslovakia. The only markings on this trumpet are the letters J.I (or J.L) on the second valve casing and 18 17 16 on the valve casings. Before you get excited, I did check with Josh Landrees and this isn’t one of his creations.This trumpet is very heavy. It has undersprung 2 part valves. It has a 2 piece bell. It is unlacquered and is beginning to develop patina. Body is 7/10, no major dents but the bell is starting to sag a bit. The third valve slide is stuck. The valves move freely. The sound is incredibly dark. This is not a horn you want to sail the high-c’s with.I am throwing in a ProTec Case for shipping if the buyer requests that, but I would prefer to bubble wrap this and put it in packing peanuts to ensure it arrives intact.Included in this auctionQty 1: Unmarked Bb Trumpet, possibly from Czechoslovakia, in used condition.If desired, a well loved ProTec trumpet case for shipping.There are no accessories included in this listing.
