This sweet little baby came to us having had a tumor on her foot, she had that removed along with a toe. She has not been socialized with humans, but she has with dogs. She will need an experienced home to help her adjust to humans. She doesn’t like to be picked up, but she is learning that being petted is ok. She is located in Greeley.Adoption processApplication, home visit, meeting dog(s), contract, feeShelter locationOver 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
