Adopt *Selena DIVA -- Adoptable Hospice a Black - with Tan

Location:
Pittsburg, CA
Description:

8 yr old, 15# Chihuahua and Terrier Mix SPAYED FEMALE for ADOPTION Meet the double DIVA herself Miss Selena !! Selena is named after BOTH Selena Quintanilla and Selena Gomez! Selena is an 8 year old Chihuahua mix that came to us from Mexico . Selena is one of our adoptable hospice pets with an estimated time of 1-2 years of quality life due to heart disease. She is looking for a retirement home to enjoy the rest of her days and fill your life with all the love you could ask for. This is what her foster mom say’s about her- “Like my namesake my full name is Selena Marie Gomez but you can just call me Selena. The real Selena has a lot of things in common with MOI. She’s an American singer and although I’m not from America, I can sing. I didn’t say I was very good but my people (aka my foster family) doesn’t complain when I sing. In fact, they encourage me to be the best version of myself. I’m very shy so I don’t show my true colors until I know you. But once I warm up to you my tail can’t stop wagging. I like to follow my person from room to room just to be sure I’m not missing out on any treats and good stuff like that. I was never on a television show or in a movie (like the real Selena) but I always wanted to be on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and share the stories of how special it is to adopt seniors like me with special needs. My best friend Pinto Vroom tried for years to get in her show but no one called her. She’s in rainbow heaven now but she sure left an impact on the world. That’s why I’m so happy that Umbrella of Hope cares about us. Their foster homes have the biggest hearts to take in all of us with age related illnesses and special needs. A few other things I have in common with Selena is an accolade of awards. I was chosen Chihuahua of the Year in 2017 at the young age of 2 (14 in dog years). I was nominated by my previous foster mom for being the sweetest girl ever known. I’ve also broken a few Guinness Book Records, as well. One time I went an entire week without having any accidents in the home. Another record I broke was sleeping through the night without waking up to go potty. If I were to win the lottery or marry a rich man like Brad Pitt I would give it all to UOH to help so many senior animals find homes. I have not made a peep in my new foster home and that’s because I’ve been saving my voice for my next concert TBA very soon . I have to take medicine for my heart every day for the rest of my life. My foster mom adds it to my breakfast, and I gobble it up. Mom says I have a big heart so that’s why I need daily medicine. I don’t know if she’s just saying that because she loves me or if it’s really true. It doesn’t really matter because I know she will help me find a forever home. I get along with other dogs in the house. They still frighten me so I pretty much stay close to my foster mom or in a soft dog bed. When I’m not writing songs I’m taking a lot of naps. Don’t judge a girl, I need all my beauty sleep I can get before I go back on tour. Cats don’t bother me either. I like to watch them until the try to swat at my face, then I run and hide until they are gone. “ If you are interested in this special girl, please send us an email to XXXX@gmail.com .
