Nothing beats the sound of a Bach” Specs 0.459” ML Bore No. 37 Bell No. 25 Mouthpipe Brass valve guides Original case Review This trumpet goes back to the Class of 1976! One owner. The venerable 37 bell has a rich, compact sound and blends well with others. This horn plays as expected! It’s a Bach. It has Bach intonation and Bach slots. Evidence of past repairs, but nothing traumatic that I can tell. Heavy exterior pitting on the usual wear points. Evidence of some red rot in the mouthpipe. Compression is still good, plays better with a heavier synthetic oil. Slides move freely. Would be a solid back up horn, or a good first pro horn experience for a developing player. There is significant wear on the valve casing - and although I am known to eschew their use, a quality valve wrap from Pro Tec will be included. With proper use the wrap will protect from too much further wear and the horn should be more comfortable in the hand. Comes with the original case, which is in mostly good condition.
