Meet very pretty Dixie! The horrible shelter killed her bonded brother so she was very kennel stressed and sad. Now she has decompressed and being fostered at my trainer's ranch. We are looking for a loving forever home for sweet beautiful Dixie. She is dog friendly with proper introductions especially male dogs her size. But her favorite thing is to cuddle and have human interaction so someone who works from home or is retired would be ideal to give her the attention she craves. She loves to be in the house or taking walks with her person. Dixie is about 2 yrs old, petite weighs 48 lbs, fully vaccinated and spayed. She is doing great with looseleash walking, focusing her attention, and knows her basic commands. I do not have a website or online application.Shelter locationAll dogs for adoption are in foster homes in So. CA where the meet and greets typically take place or at an arranged neutral territory when appropriate. All dogs and family members are required to come in person for the meet and greet if possible. Dog to dog assessments are usually done by my trainer. I do not participate in adoption events.
