KeeKee came to us in late 2022, young, sick, scared and abused. Since her arrival, she's been learning to forget the past and remember who she was before her life 'went south.' It's been a struggle, but as she recovers, a sweet spirit is emerging. Her biggest personal win happened the day she actually chose the name she would respond to. She has progressed to enjoy the giving and receiving of affection, carefully trying out new adventures in closeness as her confidence increases. She meets household visitors politely, adores her "main foster mama" and loves her polite adult kitty friends, even joining them in an occasional "zoomey". With her caregivers, she practices polite behavior and good manners, prefers predictable quiet adults who present consistent patience and love that support her blossoming nature. Healthy, and gaining daily in self-confidence, she's come a long way. She'll need a special home. If you'd like to consider helping her on her journey, you can apply on line to meet her and see whether you might be the one she's been waiting for.Adoption processOur current fee for a cat or kitten is $80.00We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.Shelter locationWe currently have 5 kennels available to us at the Twin Falls PetSmart Adoption Center and we always keep them full. Our pets are also available for viewing on our website and on petfinder.com. Working in conjunction with adopt-a-pet will be of great help to us.We are happy to arrange a private meeting and adoption for any of our cats after we have approved the adoption application.We respond quickly to phone messages and email inquiries.
