**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Hey there! My name is Sirius and I’m one of the boys from Harry Potter litter. Did you know that my name is also known as Dogstar in the night sky? So I may be named after the brightest star in the sky, but I’m just a little guy. I’m actually smaller than all of my brothers and sisters. Yep, I’m small enough to fit on your lap for a lot of cuddling. My foster mom says that I’m a “calm” for a puppy - I love being held and loved on. And I give great kisses! I’m just a very happy boy and I enjoy being with everyone – people and animals. But I also have lots of energy, and I love to run and wrestle with my siblings and play with our favorite toys. I love dogs too, and I can fit right in with a big pack. I live with my siblings, but my extended pack also includes my foster family’s big dogs and other puppies, and I love all of them! My foster mom always tells me that I am a very good boy. I’d be a good boy for my new family too. Can I come live with your family? I’m with my foster family in Eatonton now, but I’m up for a road trip to go HOME. Sirius is a Lab mix pup. His mama Minerva is a typical Labrador Retriever - friendly, outgoing and affectionate – and Sirius is just like his mama. Sirius and his littermates are current on their vetting – in addition to being spayed/neutered, they will be microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, worming, and heartworm and flea / tick prevention. But they’re still just babies who will need adopters who will commit the time to house train them, teach them manners, and to make sure that they get plenty of exercise and playtime. Adopters will need to be committed to managing normal puppy behavior such as chewing, potty training and leash training. Due to the high level of care and attention a young puppy needs, we will be looking for homes where the pups will not be left alone for hours at a time. Our rescue also requires that our adopter's current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm, flea and tick prevention. All animals in your household should also be spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason to keep them from being altered.
