Twiggy is sweet, happy, and a little sassy feline just over 3.5 years old who is looking for a calm, patient home where she can be your one and only four pawed kitty companion!Twiggy arrived to Ten Lives quite shy but has made tremendous progress. While she may still be a bit slow to warm up around new faces, once she gets comfy she doesn't hesitate to show her pretty belly off. We know its a trap, but we can't help but admire from afar and take all the photos during this cuteness! She enjoys pets a certain way and is has a knack for letting her human know exactly how she'd like receive her lovin'. We're blessed just to be near you Twiggy, whatever you say!Twiggy enjoys spending her days lounging in the warm sunbeams, snoozing in.a cozy bed, or watching you from her kitty condo. A quiet home without pets would suit Twiggy best. One additional request right from Twiggs herself- a home full of treats, catnip, fun hidey spots and lots of love purrlease! This program gives potential adopters the opportunity to interact and bond with a cat in a home setting prior to making a lifelong commitment. This program is a great way to see a cat’s true personality and watch how they integrate into your household. Twiggy is now accepting adoption and foster-to-adopt applications, available below!___________________________Ten Lives’ Foster-to-Adopt program gives potential adopters the opportunity to interact and bond with a cat in a home setting prior to making a lifelong commitment. This program is a great way to see a cat’s true personality and watch how they integrate into your household. Please note, only cats listed as foster-to-adopt are eligible for this program. How does it work?Foster-to-Adopt applicants are approved through our normal adoption process and based on the specific needs of the cat. Once approved, you will bring home your new friend and have 30 days to determine whether they are a perfect fit for you and your family. During the 30-day foster-to-adopt period, you will be responsible for providing food and litter; however, Ten Lives will provide outstanding veterinary care at a partner veterinarian. Please note: Ten Lives will not cover care provided by a non-partner veterinarian. Please take this into consideration when submitting a foster-to-adopt application. At the end of the 30 days, you can make the adoption official by signing an adoption agreement and paying the adoption fee or you can return the cat to the care of Ten Lives. ABOUT TEN LIVES:Ten Lives is a foster-based program and does NOT have a brick and mortar facility with regular visiting hours. We are a 100% volunteer-powered organization and require an approved adoption application prior to scheduling meet and greets with animals. This is out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, as well as helping to ensure our animals are matched to the homes that best meet their needs. We require that all applicants have a satisfactory veterinary reference and provide proof of homeownership OR landlords approval. We will contact all applicants who meet our minimum requirements within 96 business hours of receiving your application. During kitten season wait times may be longer. We ask for your patience as we are all volunteers! All Ten Lives cats are spayed/neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
