Adopt Selma a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White Akita / Husky / Mixed dog

Description:
We adopted Selma about 3 years ago from a shelter in Los Angeles that had received her as a stray. However she was house trained and knew basic commands from before we got her. She is a mix (mostly Akita and husky) and is about 50 pounds, maybe 7-8 years old. She is generally very sweet and calm, doesn’t get along with dogs very well but loves most humans. Selma has demonstrated reactivity and defensiveness when it comes to territory and resources, and has some anxiety, but is a total couch potato most of the time and is fine being at home by herself for extended periods. Unfortunately as my girlfriend and I are moving cities and experiencing some major life changes, we won’t have the time, resources, and expertise necessary to take the proper care of her. We are looking for an experienced dog owner who can give Selma the time, attention, and love she deserves!
