I was a foster with a local rescue for 9 years. I have now cut ties with them due to poor leadership and decisions being made which are not in the best interest of cats. I am paying out-of-pocket now to save, fix and rehome cats and kittens. I am only asking a small portion of that as an adoption fee so that I can continue to do this while I evaluate other rescues to join. Thank you! Mabel was rescued with her two small kittens. Unfortunately, only one of them survived. She is a sweet girl who LOVES attention. She prefers people to other cats so she would be fine as an only cat. She lives with other cats but doesn't interact with them. She prefers to be with people. She also has very unique ears. Not sure if she was born that way or some early injury caused their shape. She has excellent hearing and the ears were cleaned out by the vet when she had her spay surgery.
